But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.

Soul Search

  • Do you have problems or issues that seem to limit you?
Do you have a weakness (or weaknesses) that you try to hide or keep to yourself because you’re embarrassed?
    Can you talk about it?

  • Do you limit yourself with “‘stinkin’ thinkin’” that keeps you from exposing your weakness or trying things because you believe you will fail?
Can you discuss how you have limited yourself because of the way you think about your weakness(es)?

  • Maybe you’re someone who perceives that certain people you know are limiting themselves because of weaknesses that they try hard to cover so no one can see them.
Is it possible that God might want you to help someone overcome their weakness and that you might be the gift and blessing that God has for that person?

Soul Moves

  • Take a bold step of faith and bring your weakness or disability out into the open with one or two people who you trust.
Just bringing your struggle out into the open is a massive step toward blessing and victory.

  • Have your eyes open to seeing who it is that God can put in your life to help you overcome your weakness.
Ask Him to open your eyes to that person.
Be willing to do what they counsel you to do in order to overcome your weakness and see wholeness worked in your life.

  • If you’re someone who sees weaknesses or struggles in people around you that you have the power and inclination to do something about, ask God to give you the boldness, courage, strength, confidence and time to put yourself forward as a help to those people.
Watch what God can do with the lives of those you help!
