Soul Steps offers two different ways to give financially to help us further our work.
Tax-Deductible Donations
Give through World Indigenous Missions (WIM), an accredited member of the ECFA*
(a tax-deductible receipt WILL be provided)
You can give to David Gallagher (as a self-supporting missionary) and to Soul Steps through World Indigenous Missions - also known as WIM.
WIM is a 501(c)(3) public charity organization and your donations to David Gallagher and Soul Steps ARE tax deductible.
In order to make your tax-deductible donation through WIM, you can click on the button below and it will connect you directly with David and Soul Step’s profile page on the WIM website.
Donations can be made by credit card, e-check, or PayPal. If you want to use PayPal you will need to contact WIM’s office directly. You can do this by calling them at (830) 629-0863 or you can email them at wim@worldim.com.
If you prefer to write a check and send it in, please do the following:
Make the check out to World Indigenous Missions or to WIM. Check must be made payable in this way in order for your donation to be tax-deductible.
In the memo section write the number 1318. Please do not write ‘David Gallagher’ or ‘Soul Steps’ anywhere on the check. A note CAN be included with the check stating that the contribution is for David Gallagher and/or Soul Steps.

David Gallagher and Soul Steps have partnered with World Indigenous Missions for the following reasons:
WIM provides administrative support allowing David and the Soul Steps team to focus on the ministry.
Accountability to a board of directors
Financial accountability in partnership with the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA)*
Ministerial licensing for David Gallagher
WIM provides relationships for mutual support, encouragement and networking with other missionaries and ministries.
*The Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA) believes in working to enhance trust in Christ-centered churches and ministries. The ECFA has seven standards of responsible stewardship that ECFA accredited ministries like WIM and Soul Steps are committed to upholding. Non-Deductible Donations
Give through Soul Steps LLC
(a tax-deductible receipt WILL NOT be provided)
Soul Steps is registered as a Limited Liability Company (LLC)* in the state of Texas. You can give financially directly to Soul Steps LLC but your gift will not be tax-deductible.
Why an LLC?
The reason Soul Steps formed an LLC is because we wanted to provide our donors with an avenue to give whereby their names and otherwise private information would remain confidential and would not be automatically shared with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS).
Under current tax law, if an individual or entity donates $5,000 or more in a calendar tax year to a registered 501(c)(3) public charity organization, their personal and otherwise private information MUST be disclosed to the IRS. For those who want to make donations of $5,000 or more and NOT have their identities made known to the IRS, they can still donate to Soul Steps but can do so through Soul Steps LLC.
