Does your mouth – do the words out of your mouth – sometimes get you in trouble?
Can you think of a time that your words hurt someone?
Are you willing to talk about it?Have you ever struggled with talking to everyone else about a problem you have with someone rather than speaking directly with the person you’re having a problem with?
Would you agree that it’s probably best to go directly to that person with your concerns? What can tend to keep you from doing that?
Soul Moves
Ask God to help you control your mouth.
Consider being a vital part of damage control by not talking to a lot of other people about the difficulties you might have with someone.
After you know that you have caused injury to someone because of shots you’ve fired with your mouth, be part of the healing process by going directly to that person.
Do what is necessary to become part of the healing process.
