They must make full restitution for the wrong they have done, add a fifth of the value to it and give it all to the person they have wronged.”

Soul Search

• Have you made some mistakes in your life that you have never made right?  
  What are they or what were they?

• With respect to the mistakes or sins that you have committed that have hurt people, have you considered making the situation “right” beyond offering a simple apology? 
  Is there an act of contrition that would really let the party who was hurt know how committed you are to making things right?

• Ask God through His Holy Spirit to bring back to your remembrance any unfinished business in your life and relationships with people you have hurt or offended. 
  Write their names down.

Soul Moves

• Ask God to show you how to make any bad situations you were part of, right.  
  Ask Him to show you how to make things right with people you hurt in some way. 
  Make a list and write down the name(s) of the person you need to make amends with and exactly what you’re going to do to show them you want to make the relationship right.

• Before you jump into action to make things right, pray and ask God to give you His ideas for what you can do to bring forgiveness and healing.

• Ask God for the courage and strength you need to contact the people who you need to make things right with.
