When You Face A Dead End God Can Bring The Dead Back To Life

  • "Are you facing a situation that by all appearances is a ‘dead end’ and you don’t know what to do? 
    What is it?"

  • "How are you handling the “formless and empty” situation? 
    Are you losing sleep over it? 
    Is it pre-occupying your waking thoughts?"

  • "We can learn interesting things about ourselves by how we handle ‘dead end’ situations. 
    There can be painful lessons in tough situations, but what would you say you are learning about yourself as you come face-to-face with a dead end?"

Soul Moves

  • Where anxiety tries to overwhelm you when you’re in a situation that seems hopeless, give that anxiety over to God in prayer. “Cast all your cares on Him because He cares for you.” – I Peter 5:7

  • "Ask God to help you live one second – one moment – at a time and to guard your heart and mind from racing into the darkness of thinking of the worst possible outcomes. 
    Ask God to help you live out what Philippians 4:8 says, “Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.”"

  • "Be courageous enough to look at yourself (as in a mirror) and see clearly how you are (or aren’t) handling the situation. What you see might not be so pretty so ask God to change how you handle things. 
    By dealing with difficult situations more like God would have you, you actually become better looking through them. Trust God to make your character more ‘becoming’ through the tough things."
