Soul Search

  • Do you consider yourself a diligent person?
    If so, why?
    If not, why not?

  • What areas in your life do you know you could be more diligent in?

  • If you find that you are pretty easily offended, do you know why?
What specific ways are you prone to be hurt by others’ words or actions?
Do you know what triggers your hurt?

Soul Moves

  • Write down the areas in your life where you recognize you aren’t diligent.
Alongside these areas, write down why you think you don’t practice diligence in those areas.

  • After you write down the areas that require more diligence, write down practical ideas for how you could demonstrate diligence in those areas.

  • List the ways in which you can get easily offended or hurt.
Pray and ask God to help you understand why you might be overly sensitive to specific things and ask Him to help you not react so that relationships suffer because of it.
