Don't let anything or anyone stop you from doing what you and God know you need to do

“So Jesus said, ‘When you have lifted up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am he and that I do nothing on my own but speak just what the Father has taught me.’”

Soul Search

• Can you think of any times in your life when an obstacle was placed in front of you and you knew in your heart you needed to get past it?

• In looking back on that obstacle – or those obstacles – what did you do?
  Did you get around it or did it stop you?

• Some obstacles are in everyday life and have to do with “things” but some obstacles are about relationships and people.
  How did you handle a relational obstacle?
  Was God and His divine help part of the solution or did you “go it alone?”

• Maybe there is a relationship in your life (maybe relationships) that has obstacles preventing you from experiencing health, life and peace in that relationship.
  What courage and/or strength do you need from God to move past the obstacle so the relationship can be restored?

Soul Moves

• Ask God in prayer (just talk to Him as if you’re talking to a friend) to show you relationships that need to have obstacles removed.

• As you are willing to see what those obstacles are, ask God to download for you His divine plan for getting you over and around those obstacles.

• Ask God to help you prioritize what is truly important in your life and circumstances.
  Ask Him to help you push aside anything that really doesn’t matter (e.g. material possessions and ‘things’) and to help you see the importance and priority of relationships in the light of eternity.

• Believe that God will impart to you the courage, strength and wisdom you need – and that He can and will arrange circumstances – so that you can get over and around the obstacles that are blocking important relationships in your life.
