"The Bible (Jesus’s words) says in John 14:26 that God’s Holy Spirit is our Counselor who God will send to us in Jesus’s name and He will teach us all things….”

Various translations of the Bible use synonymous terms for the word ‘counselor’ including ‘Helper,’ ‘Intercessor,’ ‘Advocate,’ and ‘Strengthener.’"

"Make spending time with God in daily prayer (conversation – both speaking and listening), and reading His Word, the Bible, a top priority.

Invest in your relationship with Him and the promise He has made is that you will have relationship with Him and He will work in your life to bring you real life.

The first and greatest step you can take to having feelings of loneliness dealt with is to have a relationship with the Author of relationships – God Himself. He is the One who has promised to “never leave you or forsake you.” (Deuteronomy 31:6 & Hebrews 13:5)"

"Ask God, to counsel and teach you through His Holy Spirit why it is that you feel so alone.

Ask Him to open your eyes to the reason(s) you feel that way and what steps you can take to bring healing and alleviate those feelings.

Ask God to enhance and prosper your existing relationships – especially the healthy ones – and to bring new people into your life who you can enjoy relationship and community with."
