Then the Lord said to Abraham, ‘Why did Sarah laugh and say, ‘Will I really have a child, now that I am old?’ Is anything too hard for the Lord? I will return to you at the appointed time next year, and Sarah will have a son.’

‘Ah, Sovereign Lord, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and outstretched arm. Nothing is too hard for you.’

Soul Search

  • Are you facing or have you faced something that looked completely impossible?
What is it or what was it?

  • As you stare at the impossible, what thoughts race through your head?
Are they thoughts of dread or terror or are they optimistic thoughts of possibility?

  • If you think of possibilities when facing the impossible, where do you believe that kind of thinking comes from?
From inside you or from outside of you?

Soul Moves

  • When facing what looks like an impossibility, ask God to give you the courage and strength to take the first step.
What does that first step look like in your situation?

  • Overcoming seemingly impossible situations requires God-filled, faith-filled possibility thinking.
Ask God to help you think “positively possible” thoughts and act on them.

  • Pray and ask God to show you – give you His playbook for - how to tackle impossible situations.
Ask God for His spiritual gifts of words of knowledge and words of wisdom when staring at impossible situations.
